Built by Kerr, Stuart and Company Ltd, Stoke-on-Trent, to Works No.4080, in 1919, for the Nunnery Colliery Company Limited, and believed to have been delivered, new to their Nunnery Colliery, Sheffield, where it was sometime named ‘No.9’. The locomotive is recorded as being on-site, at Nunnery Colliery, on vesting day, 01/01/1947, and is believed to have remained there, for its entire working life, until scrapped on-site at Nunnery Colliery, by C.F. Booth Limited, Rotherham, in April 1962.
